Capítulo 29: Chapter 29 A Thousand Words

Leslie never expected that Allen would treat her this way because of Blanch. Was Blanch really that important?

"Enjoy this feeling well. When you eventually collapse from exhaustion, you'll naturally be carried in."

Allen was clearly punishing Leslie; whatever Blanch had endured, Leslie had to endure as well.

Outside, the rain continued to pour, while inside the room, Allen gazed at the still Blanch, seemingly filled with a thousand words, yet tinged with regret.

Why did he still feel pain for this heartless woman? But seeing Blanch's pale face and her pained murmurs, Allen couldn't just stand by.

"It's cold…" Blanch whispered.

Still cold?

Allen adjusted the heating, tucked her in with the blankets, and was about to get up when Blanch suddenly grabbed him and pulled him closer.

It was as if there was a warm furnace beside her, soft and fragrant. Blanch couldn't help but lean in, comfortably falling asleep.
