"You are late," Nyssa said, taking a sip from her water bottle. She sat with her legs crossed, exuding an air of impatience and authority. Her thin eyebrows were dipped in annoyance. I couldn't see her eyes as she covered them with those huge sunglasses again.

I glanced around the room, taking in my surroundings. The room was spacious, filled with natural light streaming in from the large windows. Modern, minimalist furniture decorated the space, with sleek white chairs and a polished glass table at the center. The walls were adorned with framed photographs of Nova's top models, their striking poses and impeccable fashion a stark contrast to the tension in the room.

Nyssa, dressed in an expensive black dress and oversized sunshades, looked every bit the part of a high-powered fashion manager. She radiated confidence and intimidation in equal measure. Her gaze flicked down to me, a slight frown crossing her features.
