Capítulo 108: The start of a tragic love story.

'The thrilling love story of immortal Xue Lan', unlike the title suggested, was a tragic story. 

According to the book, after cutting ties with his sect, Xue Lan wandered the mortal realm as a rogue cultivator, helping the poor and punishing evil. 

One day, he traveled to a small village that was close to the western gate of the demon realm. At the time, the gate to the demon realm was closed but there were complaints from the villagers about some unnatural deaths. 

In order to investigate this odd case, Xue Lan stayed in the small village called Pingyao for the next few weeks. During his stay, he met a man who called himself Quan Mu.

Quan Mu claimed to be a rogue cultivator who had come here just a few weeks before Xue Lan.

Xue Lan immediately felt attracted to the man and it was as if fate had purposefully brought them together. 

The two were quite compatible and worked on the odd murder cases together.
