Emerging from their caves under the cover of night, these bloodthirsty creatures sustained themselves by feasting on the blood of other monsters and, alarmingly, humans. There were numerous horror stories of whole villages falling prey to these deadly bats, the unfortunate villagers drained of their lifeblood until they were but empty husks.
