Roxana also knew about that. However, she didn't have any energy left to move. Every time she stepped on the stone and mud road, the soles of her feet felt like she was walking on a pile of needles.

She sighed. "I regret not trying to improve my stamina."

She couldn't even remember the last time her body performed strenuous activities or walked long distances. Although Roxana had lived a hard life in her past life, the body she now occupied had never gone through those hard times. 

She was just a lady who could not do anything and confined herself to her room because she did not want to meet the people in the manor.

Damian smiled. "It's alright. I can carry you on my back if you can't walk further."

Roxana furrowed her brow. "If you accidentally stepped on a trap, you might have difficulty fending it off because you have to carry me."
