Capítulo 1: 1. The Prophecy.

The Kingdom of Meridon.

"Magic is not selfish, it is not corrupted and most importantly, it is not evil. Yet, one particular girl seemed to had unintentionally broken all the rules with little effort." One of the elders of the Royal home of Alora, slowly conversed his words to a woman. A mother.

"What do you see, Old man?" Asked the woman . She wasn't desperate, and had no obsession or interest whatsoever in the future of her unborn child. Yet, the elders had thought otherwise.

In that tiny hut, lived a man. Blind, but a powerful seer. "I see a sweet girl. A fun and loving child, cherished by everyone." Described the old elder, making sure he omitted no single word. "And I see darkness!" The calmness in his tone disappeared, sending in a clash of disturbance and turbulence. From gentle and sweet words, grew a boisterous and shrill ranting. "It grows inside of her, and it will change her life for the worst!"

Startled by the new change in elder man, the woman began to develop worry and concern. "old man, stop it-"

"-and she will become a threat, a monster and an unstoppable darkness in our land!"

Up in the sky, clashes of vociferous thundering began to lash their heavenly terror as tremulous lightnings shook the earth. A threatening wind grew out of nothing, and worked its way up to becoming a terrorizing and aggressive one, discarding items in the room. It became a terrifying vicinity to dwell on, and poor woman soon lost her calmness.

Yelling on the very top of her voice, she called for the attention of the old man, but he was lost in his unnerving revelation.

"She must be sent away! She must be forced into exile! She must be robbed off any second chances! She is pure evil, pure evil!!!"

The Home of The Blood Fairies.

22 Years Later.

"Are you mad?" Zuri's eyes grew wide in amazement, but it was not the type that surprised her in a way one could relate with excitement. Rather, she worried the two strangers before her might had lost it.

Zuri had ran for too long, even she could not explain how survival had managed to be her portion. But she could at least explain one simple thing; why she would rather remain an alien to the world than to put her trust in any human again.

Her home was where ever nature took her to. Sometimes the winds would grow too strong it would send her far away from the woods, creating a further path in a dark and gloomy cave. Other times, the cave monsters would think twice about making her their neighbor. All in all through thick and thin, Zuri had managed to survive. She always found a miraculous way to move forward. Until one day, her powers grew and, well, she found within her strength the ability to cast a cloak 'round her surroundings.

"Yes, I mean no." Of the two figures that stood before her, the male one spoke. His eyes were the only thing that compelled Zuri, as the rest of his physical charismatic traits uninterested her.

We are not crazy, and you are going to help us!" The young woman beside the man, yelled out in rage. Why was she yelling at her?

Both of them were finely dressed, one could even refer to them as nobles. Yet again, it didn't quite enchant Zuri, rather it provoked her. They wanted her for her powers again, perhaps for more gold and treasuries for their kingdoms? Well, they would have to kill her first.

"Hey Ciara, don't raise your voice at our savior," said her companion, with powerful indication of worry in his tone. He seemed cooler and more intimidating to Zuri. Not because he was mean or threatening, in fact, if there was anyone for such description, it would be the young tiny-shaped woman beside him. "Hi, I'm sorry on her behalf." Slowly, he approached her, carefully calculating in his head for the right words to use. She was the Dark One after all. Yet, as he got closer, Zuri realized why he were the terrifying one. He was charmingly handsome; yet, a soothing reminder to her of what humans used to look like. What she used to be.

Kind, sweet, and selfless. Zuri decided to hold back on the later part.

No human ever believed in her. They casted her out like a rotten fruit, and not even for once had they regretted their actions. Days after days, gruesome nights had passed and Zuri had hoped deep down inside that they would come back for her. And then, their hearts would be filled with afflictions of their wrong doings, and most importantly, somewhere, someday, a happy ending story would await her.

"Don't," warned Zuri, "don't come closer!" It was not that she meant it to heart though.

"I won't hurt you," said the stranger.

With Zuri scoffing out loud, she rolled her eyes in disbelief, "Isn't that what anyone with a malicious plan would say?"

"August's right, he won't hurt you. We've come to ask you of a favor. And you have to help us." The girl said, and just anyone would tell of the confidence that came with her words. She too was also a reminder of what humans used to be-of what they presently are now and what they will continue to be. Greedy and selfish.

She had beautiful eyes and lustrous long hair. Her skin were the exact opposite of Zuri; smooth, spot free and hale, and the convey of healthy and peaceful living soon irked Zuri.

"I applaud you of one thing, dear," a smirk soon began to form on Zuri's face, but if one squinted hard enough, they could see the wave of fear overwhelming her heart already. "You won't hurt me." With a silent heave of the balmy breeze, she shut her eyes close and reached deep into the very core of her soul. "Leave now, before I change my mind-"

"-wait, please don't-!" without giving the boy a chance of ending his statement, she vanished. It was just two of them again in the woods, with their last hope of justice vanquished before their very eyes.

"Well that went well," snorted Ciara.
