Thanks. Anyway, as you might have guessed from the title, today isn't going to be about Angelic or Demonic magic. "Indeed, sadly, we're holding those topics hostage for another week or two. Unforeseen circumstances have occurred involving The Author."
By unforeseen circumstances, he means The Author nearly bled out two days ago and had to be rushed to the hospital. "Yes, quite the dramatic turn of events. And given the current situation, we're keeping this chapter short—a brief celebration of the new year, if you will."
Since if The Author overdoes it right now, he's probably looking at a stroke next, considering his luck lately. "Which would be unfortunate for all of us because if that happens, we'd be out of a job."
Well, not entirely. Technically, since we're fair use characters, we'd still exist even if The Author... y'know... "True, but I'd prefer our current arrangement to remain intact, thank you very much. Anyway, enough of the morbidity. While we're here, we wanted to ask you all a question."
