Capítulo 18: The demon inside!
While walking in the hall way, Princess Ye'er was pondering over the decisions she made, since everything was predestined.
She decided to rewrite the history of her life, and wont let her tragic fate in the past life repeat again, this time.
It's probably time to face her enemy in an open.
I need to know what will happened to me if I'll go againts my fate. I'm going to make my own story and decide my own life!
Ye'er sigh, she knew herself when her curiosity got the better of her, no one can stop her from doing things she wanted to do.
Yes, it's better to die trying than doing nothing at all! She sighed.
I will take a gumble this time and trust the people whom I can rely on! She thought, and in this situation, there's only one capable.

Given his position and her support, He is the only one suitable candidate to become her strong fortress. If he is the one she's bound to die with, then the two of them must be related, somehow.

Ye'er was about to take turn in the other side, when she heard a commotion in their tea pavilion. She stop and watch them in the distance.
She saw that her sister was surrounded with a bunch of maid and beating someone with her whip.
She can't help but rolled her eyes. What's the use of having many people, when they could not defend their master?
Luckily, she got Xin'er in her side all the time, But Xin'er is not just her personal attendant, she's also her comrade and sworn sister.
"Where did your mistress went last night?"
"This servant does not know Xiǎo'jie!"
She groaned from pain, as the whip touches her body.
"I will make you remember!"
She whip her many times.
The maid was already on the ground, she was covered with the traces of whip all over her body and there were some parts that bleeds.
Ye'er was about to ignored it but decided to step in. She suddenly enraged with anger when she recognized the one Lady Yue was beating on.
"What is going on?" Her voiced roared in anger.
"Aiyoo. ! My little sister is her. It looks like you want to join us."
She laughed that makes her smirked.
"Nonsense!" She snap. "What is going on Lu'er?"
Lu'er did not answer her and avoided her gazed. She was shivering in pain and fear.
"What on earth is going on?"
She clenched her fist while helping Lu'er to stand.
"Its none of your business Xiǎo'mei. Hurry up, you will be late if you're going to be held up with something like this. You don't know how his Majesty will—"
"They can wait! I'm going to bring lu'er with me!"
She hold Lu's hands but to her surprised she removed it and shook her head secretly.
Her sister's maids laughed.
"How is that, she don't want to come with you?"
Her sister voice suddenly become a nuisance in her ears.
"What are you doing aren't you going to greet Lady Ye?"
She can't help but snort. This one must be new and stupid! How arrogant? This people doesn't knew me at all. Let me introduced myself!
"How dare you?!"
She moved forward and slap the new maid. Everyone were startled and step back. They gasp in shocked specially her sister.
"I maybe slept a long time!"
Her eye brow raised,
"But I did not forget that besides my brothers. I still hold a very important position in this house. How could a mere daughter of a concubine can compare to a daughter of a first wife?"
Sorry but not sorry! It wasn't her intention to exaggerates the fact that her status is different from her sister.
Her mother was his Majesty's younger sister and was conferred by him as a Grand Princess, it was infact the highest title for princesses.
Because of her late mother status her father is conferred as duke and by right she's also a Princess.
Her sister is two years older than her that's make her the first daughter or "da Xiǎojie" by law but her mother is just a mere concubine.
She doesn't care much about their status, its just a formalities and besides they are one family. It's pity that her sister had different views of everything, not to mention that horrible things she made into her.
"You!"
Her sister was clutching her whip tighly to hold her anger. She wasn't probably prepare for the sudden turn of things. First lesson in life: always expect the unexpected.
Hitting a maid or any household servants is always against her conscience but Xin'er isn't with her and she had to do it either way or else she'll become a joke in front of them.
Ye'er thought everything was clear between her and Lady Yue, but who would have thought that her sister is really capable of being ruthless. She suddenly slap her maid.
"Why are you still here?get lost!"
She lost her demureness and turns into her true self.
Behind her beautiful face and careful facial expression, there's actually a monster on it.
A monster who almost killed her, she gritted her teeth. Probably, up to this time, her sister does not aware that she already remembered everything she had done to her.
"Lady Yue—please forgive this lowly servants, I'm sorry if I offended you!"
The maid was on her knees crying and begging for her sister's mercy. She rolled her eyes once again, she was the one whom the ignorant maid had offended but instead of begging to her, she kneeled to Lady Yue instead.
It looks like she only recognized her sister's authority than her.
"Take her away and make sure to flog her, so she won't forget this day!"
Two birds in one stone! She thought. She knew what her sister really meant, by giving the maid a severe punishment. It will only make the girl hates her and bear grudge against her.
"Don't touch her!"
She said before they could take her away.
"I'm also going to take her with me!"
"Little sis, this maid offended you. How could —"
"She's going to go with me by any means!"
There was something in her voice that make her sister stop.
"She offended me, that's why I am the only one who could give her what she deserved"
She said ignoring her.
Her sister face turn red in anger. She was clutching her whip tightly and gritted her teeth.
"What if I say no!"
She suddenly raised the whip and strike the maid. Ye'er covered her arms to protect her, that makes everyone gasped in horror. Ye'er feel the burning pain in her arms but it doesn't matter, what hurt her the most is the fact that her older sister is really capable of bringing harm to her.
What else she can do behind her back? If she dared to pushed her in the cliff, what more is there for her to be afraid of harming her?
That is more terrifying!
Her sister strike again but this time she deliberately catch the end of the whip and pull her closer. She grabbed her in the neck and pinned her in the wall.
As soon as their skin collided, she suddenly saw a vivid vision of her. It was like a flashed of memory. She only saw her sister laughing wickedly.
Those memory becomes fuel into Ye's burning flame towards her older sister.
There was shocked in her sister's face.
"I am warning you— you don't know what Im capable of!"
Princess Ye's eyes burnt with furry. She was already tired of holding back thus momentarily lost her temper. Besides, It's already time to show them, who she really is.
The fear in her sister eyes makes her realized something. Killing her older sister won't justify everything. I'll be just like you! she thought bitterly.
Ye'er learned the fact that she's also like Lady Yue. The demon inside her is probably far worst that her sister. There was a glimpse of moment that she's totally taken by her ranged of anger and actually thought of killing Lady Yue right in an instance.
The strong grip of her hand make her sister gasp for air, she was chooking. Ye'er suddenly realized that she almost killed her.
Her faced darkened.
"Take a look at me closely!"
She commanded Lady Yue and grabbed her face forcefully.
"I just become what you can't embraced. Take a better look on a demon you made!"
She said imperiously.
"I'm letting you off this time for our family's sake but next time don't tell me I did not warned you!"
Ye'er was expecting herself to shred a tears but there was none. She felt that somehow, she already changed.
No! I did not changed, I just learned!
It is the pain that makes people strong. She let go of her sister, before she forgets the word kindness and lost all her sanity in the process.
There was still shocked and defiance in her sister's face when she sank on the ground, it seems like all her strength was gone. Ye'er felt pity towards Lady Yue but she knew her older sister is not the kind who give up easily.
"Listen all of you!"
Ye'er said while imposing her authority to all the servants in their household.
"I am the future Crown Princess, address me properly from now on!"
"Yes, Your Highness!"
They answered in churos. Ye'er doesn't want to exaggerate the whole thing but it's her responsibility to discipline the people in her household.
They should know who's the real master is!
