Capítulo 32: POPULAR OVERNIGHT

Strangely, Mr Greystone and I chatted for more than a few minutes. By the time we remembered how much time had passed, Mr Slander had already come in to check on us.

"Mr Greystone, shall I postpone the meeting?" He asked in a polite tone.

"No. There's no need for that." When Mr Greystone said that, he offered his hand for me to hold. Still high on the giddy feeling I got from our little chat, I placed my hand on his. Standing up to walk with him at his side. All the while, I could not help but notice the subtle glare Mr Slander threw my way.

With my chin pointing to the air and my head held high, I harrumphed as I passed him.
