Despite their desperate attempts to resist, the Kawuks were unceremoniously flung into the pit. Five Myth Slayer Taskforce soldiers sprang into action, circling the edge with their advanced rifles. Each weapon was trained on the trapped monsters below.

When the time came, Hunt Captain Birendra's voice rang out with authority, "Fire!"

Five beams of radiant energy shot forth, deploying glowing nets from the Electrocatcher rifles. The electrified nets spread wide, draping over the roaring Kawuks. The monsters thrashed wildly, their agony amplified as the high-voltage energy scorched their already charred flesh. Bound by roots, vines, and now the electrified nets, the Kawuks' resistance waned.
