Chapter 65: Stop Picking On Her. 

Laura's POV

I stood still in the restroom where I was crouching down, fear gripped me as the lights went out and I heard the sounds outside. It felt like there was someone there earlier and in seconds they became two, I couldn't be sure but everywhere was dark. I expected the door to be opened and I would get kidnapped or something. 

Maybe that could happen, I was the wife of Xavier Harrington, getting money off him through me would surely work since he wouldn't want the public to think he doesn't love me. 

But nothing happened, and I was tempted to open the door. It creaked open gently and I peeped through the darkness. I couldn't see a thing but I knew I had to get out of here. Maybe it was a power glitch from the whole hall? But no! I heard the switch turn.
