Capítulo 44: Chapter 44: Facing The Consequences

Evan woke up with a terrible migraine due to a bad night's sleep and one less bottle of whiskey in his bar.

He got up slowly and looked around. She was not there.

Flashes of yesterday's events came through his mind. After Josh informed him that Chloe was at Brianna's house, Evan thought about going there, but Tyler advised him not to go.

He and Tyler drank all night and Evan didn't know how his friend left his apartment, but thanked him for being alone at that moment.

After a shower and a black coffee without sugar, Evan was feeling better. He went to his office thinking about what he would say when he met Chloe there.

Chloe said goodbye to her friend with a hug after asking her one last favor.

She spent the night thinking about what to do and now she had made her decision.

That story had already gone too far and she didn't want to be hurt anymore.

Brianna texted Chloe that Mr. Bailey had arrived at the office, then she could act safely.
