Capítulo 6: My Squire
Hope you enjoy (This is the first time I will be trying to write for a different POV leave your opinion in the comments if I should keep doing it. And sorry for the long wait.)
POV: Adrian
Watching the melee from the crowd I am amazed by the show. A knight with no name had fought against some of the best lords in the realm and won. And when I watched him leave the arena with no Squire following him knowing that means I may have the chance to finally become a squire and then a knight. But I most move quick because I'm sure that I will not be the only one going after this title.
So, I rush to my mother and father to tell them of my plan.
Adrian: "Mom, Dad, I think I found someone I can squire for."
Amelia (Mom): "And who would that be."
Adrian: "It's the knight that just won the melee I watched him and saw that he doesn't have a squire."
James (Dad): " All right son but you must ask him first before you start getting excited about being his squire."
Amelia: "Speaking of which why don't you go find this knight and ask. I would start by looking around the tents on the outskirts."
Adrain: "Okay I will. And you guys just wait at our tent?"
Amelia: "Yes we will be at our tent making dinner for when you come back."
Adrian: "Great then I'm off to find him."
James: "Have fun son."
POV: Michael
I'm sitting outside my tent struggling to take my armor off when I hear the voice of a boy.
Adrian: "Hello sir would you be interested in a squire."
I turn to look at the boy and see that for a common folk he is tall and well built. And the size of his hands and feet tell me he should keep growing. So he as a good base and it should not be hard to mold him in to a knight.
Michael: "I just so happen to be looking for one. How old are you boy."
Adrian: "I'm ten and three name days old sir."
Micheal: "I see and where are your parents."
Adrian: "They are at our tent good sir."
Micheal: "Well how about this if you can take my armor off in a fast enough time we can go to your parents, and I can have a talk with them."
Adrian: "Yes sir I will try my best."
It takes him around 15 minutes because he has never taken off armor but that is still 45 minutes less than what I do alone, so I am satisfied.
Micheal: "Okay let's make our way over to your parents. You can led the way."
Adrian: "Follow me then good sir."
As I follow Adrian through the crowds, we reach a small tent with a couple sitting around a campfire cooking some sort of meat soup.
Michael: "Hello there would you both be the parents of this young man."
James: " Yes I am his father my name is James, and this is his mother, Amelia."
Amelia:" It is an honor to meet you, my lord."
Micheal: " No need for to call me a lord, I am nothing more than a hedge knight. But your son here says he wishes to become my squire."
James: " Yes he has always wanted to become a knight, but we know that first he must become a squire."
Micheal: " That is true, but it would seem that the seven has blessed your family as I am in need of a squire myself."
James: " If you would truly help our son become a knight, we would be forever grateful to you Sir Micheal."
Micheal: " Before I take him you do know this means you may not see your son for many years. As he will be with me till the day, he becomes a knight."
Amelia: " Even though it is sad that I may not see my oldest son again, if it means he has the chance to rise above the rank of the common folk I would see him off with no regrets."
Micheal: " Then Adrian from this day you are the squire of me Sir Micheal Stone, now go and pack your things and say your goodbyes."
Adrian: " Yes Sir and thank you I will sever as the best squire you have ever seen."
Micheal: " I am sure you will."
