Anabella sighed as she looked at the group in front of her. They were all playing games, but no one had noticed her.

The small hoard in front of her was focused on the alpha pair—surprising enough, James. They all wanted to get closer to these three, and Anabella needed to get out.

Seeing her crush getting flirted with her was never a good feeling, but using her stepson in the process was even worse.

Anabella headed to the balcony to clear her head, realizing she was not the only one.

The one smirking on the balcony was a beta Anabella seldom saw in her class. 

"You are…Rita, right? We used to take some classes together last semester. Did Noah invite you to this party? I was not aware you both shared classes or knew each other."
