Capítulo 1: Historical Context

Hey, author here, so anyways, for any of the readers who don't know the boshin war, it was a civil war in Japan that began in the 1860s when the japanese were separated into 2 factions that were, the imperialists and the shogunates. The reason japan had separated was because America had landed in Japan, disturbing the isolated policy of it for 265 years, but till now, since the policy was disturbed and the Americans did the gunboat policy (google it) it has forced the Japanese shogunate government to choose either to kick out the forgeiners or to allow them.
