Capítulo 16: Departure
The day started like many before, Saor woke up, got to the farm and helped other Guardians planting, after that he got to the Chief, sparred with him, even if that only dured few minutes and at the end of the day he got to the great hall of the Chief.
There every afternoon the entire clan would gather to celebrate the day and eat what they hunted.
Today was not different, even if the first time that place of the volcano was too hot with time he acclimatised and got pretty resistant to that heat.
Everyone was talking, laughing and celebrating like always, he was sat next to the Chief and her daughter Ruby, they talked and joked about the many things happening in the village.
With time he and Ruby became pretty close, always talking, joking and sparring.
Seeing that the feast took a slower pace Saor got up with a sad look on his face, in front of everyone he declared "Clan, if I need to describe the time I passed here with one word, it would be, unforgettable, I lived a long life and I'll continue doing so, but this time I spent with you all will forever remain in my heart, sadly even the happiest times come to an end, I will depart tomorrow, my decision is unchangeable, don't even try to change my mind, see you all tomorrow".
After saying all that he walked out of the hall and returned to his home, he spent around 40s years there and now it was time to continue his travel.
The hall was silent, that declaration dropped like a bomb left all of them unsure what to do, Ruby seiing this decided to take the matter on her hands.
The next morning the day passed quickly for Saor, he prepared a bag with food, water and other resources useful for his travel, he thought 'I need to thank Blaze before going away, it's all thanks to him that I got all these things, these will make the travel a lot easier'.
After everything was ready the sun already dropped, it was time to go.
As he got out of his house the entire clan awaited him at his door, everyone was there to give their regards, what followed after was a great feast greater than any other where every member of the clan talked, joked and drank a boiling wine, that usually was drank only during the Chief coronation ceremony.
The Chief and Blaze got near Saor and approached him, Blaze said "It was nice to meet you Saor, you taught me and the others many different things, it's all thank to you that we could make so much wine in so little time, without your techniques this amount could have never been made, so I think that this gift is more than needed " giving him a bottle of boiling wine, even Saor was surprised from the gift so he accepted it qoth a grateful smile.
Then came the turn of the Chief "Saor, I saw how you tried many time to attack me with your right hand, so I asked the greatest blacksmiths of our Clan to make this, thank got they concluded it in time" he then gave him a iron arm covered in black sturdy scales " It's truly a pity you couldn't meet our Titan Magma, these are his scales ".
Accepting the gift Saor said "thanks you really didn't need to gave me these things, but if you insist I can only take them".
He and the Chief gave each other a long goodbye, before he got back to his imminent departure.
As he tried to go back to take his bag Blaze stopped him and whispered in his ear " Saor, Ruby wants to talk to you in her room, now".
After hearing the low whispers of Blaze Saor decided to go and give his goodbye to Ruby, after going in the deepth of the volcano and finding her house he entered, what he found there left him surprised for the first times in decades.
In Ruby lied almost completely naked on her bed, her face one with many expression written on, the only thing covering her whole body was a thin veil almost transparent.
Seiing the Saor's surprised face she looked amused and after a few seconds she asked "Saor I've never seen you linger around any woman of the village, it's now because you're impotent, right ? " her tone one of challenge and amusement.
After that they started talking and one thing brought the other...and they ended in bed.
At the first light of the day Saor woke up, he gave a kiss on the front of the still asleep Ruby, took his things and began his travel, giving his goodbye to that wonderful time of his life.
Even if he had sex with Ruby he still knew that he was still sterile, sometimes he envied the Lass for their capacities of having childrens, but sadly he long became accostumated to this, this was the reason he never tried to hit on any girl of the clan, till yestarday, he felt his pride wounded so he had to show himself in some way.
But it still didn't changed that that was only an avventure and nothing would came out from his being sterile.
Little did he know that Micah saw all of that and decided to put his hand in it, making sure that one day Saor could receive a real surprise.
