Capítulo 229: The burning house

Christopher became terrified as he watched the blazing fire engulf the house.

"Abigail…" He screamed and ran to the house.

"Mr. Sherman, wait a minute." Benjamin charged at him, drawing him back. "You cannot go in."

"Get off of me." Christopher pushed him away hard enough to make Benjamin stagger and tumble.

"Abi…" He cried out and rushed into the house, ignoring the raging fire.

Benjamin motioned for the other guards to look around before rushing into the burning house behind his boss.

The flames were spreading rapidly, and the heat was intense. Smoke was everywhere, making it hard to breathe. The sounds of the roaring flames and shattering glass mixed with Christopher's cries of "Abigail!" echoed through the house.
