"Why not?" you might wonder. "Why not?" I had the sensation that his hot breath was brushing against the back of my neck.

"Children, and this is a public space," the narrator states emphatically. "Children, and this is a public space." My brain cells were finally beginning to communicate with one another. I stepped back a few steps, giving us just enough space for his lips to not be millimetres apart when we were kissing each other.

After that, "All right, let's get these things into our room," the narrator says. He made his case in front of the class.
