Casey’s POV
“Casey, darling, is that you?” Christine Sullivan calls out to her son.
Casey wants to duck and hide. Unfortunately, he knows he cannot hide from his mother now that she has seen him. He had talked Heather into going out for lunch to a small cafe away from the company. They have not been able to spend much time together since they returned from their weekend away.
He reluctantly turns around and sees his mother and sister coming up to him.
“Mom! And Molly! What are you doing here?” Casey asks, his voice higher pitched from nerves.
“I don’t have any classes today, so Mom and I decided to go shopping. We’re here for lunch before the shopping begins. This is one of my favorite restaurants,” Molly answers her brother. “What are you doing here, Casey? And who is this with you?” she asks with curiosity.
