After a while passed,

"We can start now, Carter. I'm fine for three matches," Scarlett said calmly, still keeping eye contact with Xander.

'Goodness! Why is he flirting in this place?' she thought inwardly. She could feel her cheeks turning pink as she was captivated by Xander's seductive gaze and lips. However, the awareness of the many eyes watching them quickly snapped her back to reality, and she subtly shook her head, pushing away her sultry thoughts.

"Sister-in-law, are you sure?" Carter was taken aback. He had expected her to agree to just one match, but she had decided to accept his offer. He felt guilty and worried that his sister-in-law would be embarrassed if she lost three times.

'I should pretend to give up in the second round so she won't be too embarrassed, right?' Carter quietly mused to himself. Then, he began explaining the type of match he had chosen.
