Sitting outside the doctor's office, while waiting for her turn to meet the gynecologist, Marissa felt nervous. Everything is moving at a fast pace, and she could have come here with Sasha at least she wouldn't notice the anxiety crawling all over her, that something might be wrong with her baby since it's been three weeks since she figured out that she's pregnant, and she didn't care to see a doctor.

But there's no Sasha, neither was her mother planning on calling her after the ordeal they had at her house, to which the only help she could offer was to tell her to abort her baby.

Her mother told her to kill her child, that was the least option on her mind towards the little bundle of nerves, that she couldn't feel anymore since hearing her mother tell her to get rid of the child, that's why she's here. To make sure that she's safe.
