Capítulo 29: Meeting his friends

In front of room 201 which is their all-time meeting spot, Li jie stopped and turned around to look at his wife and said,

"okay this is it., you are going to know everything about me in one night. This is so unfair, but I also want you to know everything about me. So, Let's go." Before pushing the door open.

"welcome"

As soon as the door opened, the people inside the room shouted together and started popping the party poppers.

Startled by the sudden voice, zhang xiaoxi jumped in shock.

Helplessly shaking his head at his friends or their childish behaviour, he wrapped his hands around xiaoxi's shoulder and spoke gently to her.

"xiaoxi, these people are quite childish, please bear with them."

"dude is he our friend? I have never seen him talking so gently to anyone. Maybe he is a con artist? - asked Gao Lee

Gao lee is the owner of the hotel. His family owns many hotels and restaurants throughout the world. And he is the sole heir of the family. Being the only son, though he is pampered way too much, he also has a very prominent place in the business.

After taking over the business, he put much effort and made the business rise to a greater level than it already was. It is also said that, this heir of Gao family seems to be jovial, he is also very strict when it comes to his work.

"don't know about the con artist, but we will be doomed if sister in law really got scared."- replied joseph.

Joseph is the younger son of Zhen family. He is a doctor and a scientist who can create cure for any kind of diseases once he had his eyes on. He has his own multi-speciality hospital.

Though he is called the younger son, the zhen family is proud of him than they are of their older sons. The zhen family is in the educational department. Father zhen is the educational officer and mother zhen is the professor in medical sciences. The zhen family also owns a medical school.

Nudging both of his friends, Lu Ting made his way towards the new couple.

Lu Ting is an A-lister in the movie industry. He is always surrounded by his female fans. Even xiaoxi is a fan of him to some extent. He was awarded the most talented and most handsome Actor for 3 consecutive years.

Yusheng, who was at the back took seat and was sipping wine waiting for his fiancé Evelyn.

Yusheng is the first ever friend of Li Jie. They both were inseparable in their school years. He was the calmest and mature among the friends. But since yusheng choose to pursue his dream of becoming lawyer, he has to go on different ways and couldn't study together with Li Jie. But both of them were always in touch. After coming back from abroad, he set up his own law firm and he is now the number 1 lawyer in the country. Not even a single case he laid his hands on was a failure. He is the one who speaks very less but when speaks, makes his opponents tongue gets tied.

He met Evelyn, when he was in his second standard. They were childhood sweethearts. Evelyn is a doctor and is in the same hospital as joseph. She lost her parents when she was in her 7th standard and became an orphan. from then on, yusheng's grandfather took care of her. Yusheng was there with her the whole time and consoled her whenever she felt lonely.

Yusheng parents also took care of her and loved her as their own daughter or even more than that. They were all so happy when yusheng proposed to evelyn last week and are busy in the marriage preparations.

Though all of them are busy in their life's, all of the friends would find a chance to visit each other and spend time.

"Guys don't scare her alright", warned Li jie.

Looking at their ice block friend being so protective of his wife, they were all shocked. It hasn't been 2 days for his marriage. But he has changed so much, and he appeared much gentle and peaceful than his usual self which bought goosebumps all over their bodies.

Sitting beside her, he took her hand and started introducing his friends.

"xiaoxi, this is Joseph, Gao Lee, Lu Ting and Yusheng. They are all my friends. Well, there are more. The girls are not here yet. I think you already know Lu Ting, yusheng is a lawyer, Lee owns this restaurant, and joseph is a doctor."

"guys this is my wife Zhang Xiaoxi."

"hello sister in law" -shouted joseph and Gao Lee.

Smiling at them, "hello" she nodded.

"welcome to the group sister in law"- welcomed Lu Ting.

Looking at her celebrity crush, zhang xiaoxi blushed and said "thank you" which didn't escape the eyes of Li Jie.

Taking a note to ask her afterwards, he squinted his eyes at Lu Ting which sent shivers down the latter's spine.

"Hello"- yusheng nodded his head.

Smiling back at him, she smiled "hello".

"oh, come on yusheng. At least call her sister in law for god's sake."- Gao lee helplessly shook his head at the gangs most shy person yusheng.

"sister in law, don't mind him. He won't talk to any woman other than eve. She has made him dance of her fingers since he was 6 years old."- teased Joseph who stuck out his tongue when Yusheng glared at him.
