Homecoming surprises

Bella

Tonight was our homecoming, and Ty was taking me. Mom helped me get a dress and the accessories that go with it. Dad offered to help, but he would put me in a foo-foo dress knowing him. Yeah, that would be a big fat no.

I got ready. When I finished, Ty arrived. Of course, I came downstairs to see Dad conversing with him.

/"So, Ty. Do you mind if I call you Ty?/" Before he answered, Dad said, /"Of course, you don’t because I’m allowing you to take my precious gem to a dance. Now make sure you do nothing sexual with her. We need her pure to sacrifice her to the Gods./"

Ty’s eyes widened. I facepalmed myself.

I came down and walked past dad. /"Night, dad./"

As Ty turned to follow me, my dad stopped him.

He placed something in his hand. /"Here is fifty bucks. Get Team Andrew together, so I don’t have to return a shirt./"
