Capítulo 9: Chapter 9 Persistence

Jane's POV

It's been a whole week since the roof incident. I've tried to talk to Luca a little to find out what's going on, but he would just ignore me and act like I didn't exist. This, of course, increased Sarah's confidence and smugness towards me. I swear, I'll never understand what I did to that girl for her to hate me so much.

It was Monday today and I was in my room getting ready for school. I felt like I was deprived of all my emotions and energy. Luca was the first real friend I had ever since I came here, but it looks like I lost him.

No. No. I won't allow it. I won't lose him without a proper explanation.

I left the house about thirty minutes later and started making my way to school. I was definitely going to get an explanation from Luca today and I won't let him go until I hear it, so with full determination, I surged into history class where I know Luca would be sitting right in front of me.
