Capítulo 13: Graffiti
Everyone piled into the car after a long day of school Ariel still couldn’t believe that she was living with Cole and neither could her friends. School had gone so-w year again she had no idea where they were going and it was Saturday tomorrow and Cole had informed her that there was a meeting to be held once they got back he’d informed her to make sure she’d put everything black in her extra backpack whu[idh was in the back of the van.
Harvey was waiting outside the school gates for them. Cole dropped his arm over her shoulders as they walked out of the double doors; this was one of the only days that they had a double lesson together. Everyone in school knew she was his next target but how long would she last would be the question? They only had till summer left they all hoped she would last till them they all knew he would pick someone to join them every year, and every year that unlucky person would either disappear or end up dead. Maybe sent to another school some had committed suicide cause they couldn’t handle him or his gang and what they stood for.
Ariel had no idea what was coming and she was dreading it. She had to work Saturday and Sunday with Spider, he’d insisted upon it. Cole wasn’t too pleased with this, but he had reminded him it was her choice if she wanted to come or not she decided it was better than being in the house alone why they did whatever.
They pulled up on the highway. Putting their black hoodies on taking the bags out of the van they pulled their hoodies over their faces, pulling. the strings tightly to hide their faces, they knew this was the best and easier way not to be recognised. Harvey slid the van door closing it. They followed Cole over the uneven grass and dusty ground until they reached their destination, a huge wall at least ten feet long and high. What were they doing there?
The bags unzipped. Taking the cans out. ‘Ariel you too this has to be perfect a woman’s touch is needed.’
She nodded. Taking out some of the spray paint cans.
He pulled out a sketch. He instructed everyone what they had to do. They all nodded and began spraying. Why did he have to give her the job of spraying around the words?
‘Need a push up?’ Harvey asked.
She nodded.
‘Hold on to my shoulders and I’ll pull you up.’
‘Okay.’
She did as he instructed. And began to spray around the edges as he walked steadily so he didn’t drop her.
‘Done.’
Thank fuck she may have been light but he needed to gain his composure.
Ye helped her down their eyes connnected why the fuck did she have to be Cole’s? she was so fucking perfect.’
‘Stop eye raping my girl Harvey and take a look at this.’
‘Yeah, sorry.’
He took his arms from around her and stepped back nudging Ariel. She turned looking at the graffiti almost six feet tall by eight feet long. “Bad boyz 4 Eva” written in some kind of Celtic script her swirls, swooshes and skulls around it. ‘Perfect.’
‘You’re good at this Ariel.’
The sounds of police sirens echoed. ‘Shit.’
‘Time to go.’
‘RUN!’
Was the last words Ariel heard before her legs took her as fast as she could over the dusted ground and grass land they had walked over to get here. The van door slid open and they all jumped in the bags were thrown on the door the door slid shut after Ariel was last to jump in. The van sped away. ‘You’ll need training Ariel, you're too slow.’
‘I’m sorry it’s not my.fault I’m shit at sports.’
‘We’ll soon change that.’
They van pulled out outside of the house they all got out and headed inside. ‘Everyone get changed into something more comfortable meeting in ten in the lounge.’
They all headed upstairs to their rooms to get changed. Cole and Harvey waited in the lounge waiting for everyone to come in. They all sat down. Cole looked at all of them sitting down Harvey opposite him. He pulled out the blueprints. ‘This is our next target. We have a drug run tomorrow then we hit this place. I’ve been well informed that there are all those drugs there once we get it we get out. These are the main ways into the building.’ he said pointing to the four exits. ‘We need to be careful their are guards at each of the exits on the roof and inside we need to take our guns shoot to kill then grab the merchandise and get the hell out.’
‘Same drill as last time?’
‘Yep set the timers for ten minutes, it's a bigger target than last time.’
‘Sure.’
‘Are you keeping those drugs too?’
‘Some of them some are getting old the rest will be distributed at the party in a few weeks at cost.’
‘Okay.’
‘Well now that’s all sorted let’s eat.’
Harvey ordered pizzas and drinks for all of them. ‘So where’s your mom?’
‘Oh she doesn't live here she just visits everyone and again. Harvey is the eldest so she expects him to take care of me and the house.’
‘Oh.’
‘Don’t worry Ariel, she hardly comes here.’
The bell rang and Harvey e]went to get the pizzas’. He closed the door and went back to the others, placing the boxes on the wooden floor then handed the drinks around.
They all began to eat sipping their drinks. Ariel yawned. ‘Ariel go to bed, you're tired.’
‘No in fine.’ She yawned.’
;go to bed.’
‘Okay.’ She said pulling herself up,’ night guys.’
‘Night Ariel we’ll see you in the morning.’
She nodded and left the room.
They all looked at each other. Harvey was the first to speak. ‘Are you sure about this Bro? We Jsut about got out last tome Ariel isn’t the fastest out of all of us maybe I should stay in the van with her.’
‘No I need her in there. I’ll train her I promise but until then she stays where I can see her.’
‘I won’t do nothing.’
‘And I saw the way you were looking at her.’
‘What? Are you jealous little brother?’
He snorted.’ What of you? You're fucking delusional.
