Capítulo 31: Wedding Gift

Daylight came too early for the king. He was used to waking up at the wee hours of the day. His gaze fell on the beauty that laid naked in his arms. She was nestled into his body making him feel hot and bother.

He looked at the huge window whose curtains were up. From where he laid, he could see the sun rising high up in the sky. Its soft yellow light felt warm as the previously cold blue clouds thawed in its presence.

Birds were flying around in the sky as they tweeted, welcoming a new day. His gaze softened even more. It looks like the day portrayed his moods and feelings well. Just like the joy and pride in his heart, the sun rose majestically, spreading its light to the darkness that had previously taken over the world.
