Capítulo 1: Prologue:
Thousands of years ago, when the earth was new, an ancient, primal force ruled the world. They were known as the Titans, the First Beings. Born from the raw power of the universe, they ruled with an iron first. They created a lesser species they called Man, and enslaved them. For a thousand years the Titans ruled with tyranny. Punishment and darkness shook the world. The Titans gave birth to a new species they called gods. Born from the First Beings the powers gifted to the gods was great. In silence they watched as the Titans continued to dominate the earth, abusing their power. Some of the gods grew angry with how the Titans ruled the world, and rebelled against them. The rebel gods sought out an oracle to find if there was any way to overthrow the First Beings. The oracle warned of a Great Prophecy that foretold the end of the Titans and the world. Following what they believed the prophecy to mean they fought against the First Beings, and the war dragged on for a century. The gods began to lose the war, so they convened a secret meeting. If the war did not end soon, the earth would soon be destroyed, and all the beings on it. Together the gods created a plan according to the prophecy. They would create new species to populate the earth. A new species to bring peace and hope back to earth. The most powerful gods joined together, each creating offspring of a new species more powerful than before.
The gods created powerful beings known as The Created, the first of each species. The moon goddesses Selene and Artemis created a new species of half man, half wolf people. They produced the four original werewolves, giving them reign over the seasons of earth. The goddess of night, Nyx and the god of death, Hades created a new species of undead. Immortal, powerful, creatures of the night that would unleash nightmares upon the Titans. Hecate, goddess of magic joined with Zeus to create a powerful bloodline of witches, gifted with power over the four elements. God of Light, Apollo, with the goddess of knowledge Athena created a species known as the Fae. Human-like creatures with knowledge and power beyond that of any other species, a source of light in the darkness.
Together with the gods, The Created defeated the Titans, forcing the First Beings deep into the earth. For a while, peace reigned and hope filled the world. Humans and the supernatural lived in peace, in harmony. Land was shared between the Created species and humans. The earth was in harmony, mortals and immortals living amongst each other without fear. However, peace could not last forever.,The species began to bicker amongst themselves. Finally, war broke out again as the species turned on eachother, humanity caught in the crossfire. The gods attempted to intervene, begging the Created ones to see the fault in their ways, of how they could not rule as the Titans before them. When all else failed, in order to protect the human race the gods created a rift between the mortal and immortal world. They split the immortal world up, and stripped the Created Ones of their power. Instead of the gift of the gods flowing through the species, the gods condensed the power into four rings. The rings were gifted to the Ruler of each species, to be passed down his bloodline. The gods withdrew to the heavens, leaving the species to roam until the time came for another war.
Four thousand years later….
The earth was stoic, calm. The rift between the worlds held, holding off the impending war. Werewolves and vampires continued to battle, the witches had long gone extinct. No one had heard from the Fae in centuries, most believed them to have gone into hiding. Throughout the world, a deep whisper could be heard, whispering from deep beneath the ground. A rumble so soft, so small that only a person straining to hear it could detect it. A voice so primitive, so primal that it spoke itself into existence. The voice was one of nightmares, it told stories that made children run for their mothers. The whisper spoke of times of punishment, times where evil ran rampant. It promised destruction, it promised chaos. The voice was metallic, the sound of pure evil. The whisper carried throughout the immortal world. It flowed past the rift between worlds into the human world. The bone chilling voice carried to the furthest parts of the earth, promising the destruction of the world.
Somewhere, a huntress froze. The hair on her arms stood straight up as she suppressed a shiver. That voice… A voice that hadn't been heard in eons. A voice so feared, so powerful that none had spoken his name in centuries. He is rising. The huntresses stood, bow in hand. She must alert the others, and they must rally the Created Ones. The time to unite the species was drawing near.
