Aláine's Point of View

Tomorrow night was the first full moon after my shift. Kristof and I were to be mated in front of our pack. During the two weeks, Kristof had taken me into their little township to meet many of the pack members. It was nerve-wracking, but it gave me a sense of purpose too.

I was finally meeting all the people Kristof was responsible for and, by extension, for whom I would be responsible. Being a Luna was a considerable responsibility. Fate had put me in that position, so I was going to make sure I didn't let Kristof or our pack down.

My guards, Daniel and Jake, had taken Zara and me into the city to purchase a gown. I chose a lovely cream lace dress with spaghetti straps. My favourite style. It hugged the curves in my body but was also elegant. There was a slight flair from the knees, ending halfway down the calves at the front. At the back, it reached my shoes at the bottom. It was a dress that said wedding without actually saying it. Just perfect.
