Tatiana was scared of the state she would find her friend in. Sure, the medics would try attending to Zhuri, but how were they supposed to heal a technically dead person?

How were they supposed to make Zhuri feel better when they didn't know the first thing about her? It was a harsh reality that they had to live through, one whose choice was not openly presented to them.

Tatiana was helpless as she ran through the hallways using her vampire speed. Now that the humans and werewolves — or even the vampires — couldn't see her, she could easily run through and get to Zhuri.

At the infirmary, there was a large crowd who had their own speculations and worries. Students needed to be in class, but how would they study with one of them fallen?

If it were a public school, calling the students to order could have been easy, but Reyev was no public school. It was a school for the rich, and one disturbance was all it took to make the students fear.
