Capítulo 10: Chapter 10: Rude Reminder

Mila felt shocked. She knew exactly who it was. That bastard was getting it on with another woman.

She could not believe the audacity. He knew! And he knew that she knew he was her mate.

Mila’s face paled. He genuinely wanted nothing to do with her. The sounds coming from the room got more carnal.

Josiah wondered if he should explain what was happening. He saw Mila’s face lose color, and he decided against it.

His priority was to get her away from here. She did not look good at all. Before he could say anything to her, they heard Sloane moan.

The moan left no question as to what was happening in the room nearby. Sloane got louder and more lewd.

Mila’s face scrunched up in distaste. Her fingernails bit into the palm of her hand. Her eyes started reddening first.

The redness then crept up to her neck and ears before making its way up her face. She smiled bitterly and turned to face away from the sound.
