Standing at a corner of the commanders tent Liam had listened to the conversation between the commander and one of the Syndicate leaders Leonardo , which makes him think of Da Vinci , he had already got the info about him being an experiment before hand but hadn't really looked into it till he was at the cave , his major worry was Eve an elven that had been turned into a spiritual being with out becoming a Demon Lord.
Based on the memories he got she was atleast as strong as a Greater demon but as far as he could tell she was definitely stronger than that at the very least she was Arch demon level or even Primordial level and as if that wasn't enough she possessed a demon lord seed making her a formidable opponent , Liam wasn't that worried about her though as he possesed skills that were beyond overpowered.
' shit , so that's Eve '. Liam thought as he looked at the dark haired women who came out of the Facility , she had two large horns on top of her head , pointed ears but shorter than those of an elf , purple eyes and was wearing a bloody lab coat.

The soldiers were dying left and right screams of terror filled the camp the monsters , the commander ran out of the tent and was horrified by what he saw , quickly putting himself together he began killing the monsters one by one.
" We are under attack , all of you get into formation ". the commander yelled snapping the dazed soldiers out of their trance , the battle had now officially began.
" BOOM ". " Tatatata ". explosions and gun fire rang out across the camp along with shrieks and roars of monsters , then.
" REVENGE , Revenge , I will kill you all ". An angry voice said loud enough for everyone to hear , it was Eve who has now joined the battle.
The adventurers who were now free were also desperately fighting for their lives , the commander and several other stronger soldiers where now engaged in a deadly battle with Eve of which they had no hope of ever winning.
All high level soldiers who worked for Syndicate are enhanced physically and are comparable to Enlightened human but weaker so they definitely can't fight a Demon Lord seed and win , The commander himself joined the organization a few decades ago and built his way up the ranks through his strength and dedication , he was blessed with a powerful Unique Skills that made him of immense value to the organization , Perseverance a virtue type Unique skill that increases defence and strength the longer the battle continues , along with many other Extra and common skills he even became a true Enlightened some time back , but still infront of Eve it was all helpless.
The commander and three others attacked Eve from all sides when they realized she must be the one controlling the monsters but she deflected their attacks easily and sent out sharp black spikes that formed around her , the commander and two of the men barely survived the assault but the third wasn't so lucky , impelled and nailed to a tree he coughed up a few mouthfuls of blood before breathing his last , by the time the commander stabilized himself , Eve was already infront of him and she swung her claws at him but he managed to dodge and when one of the two majors fired a spell at Eve he took advantage of the situation and cut off one of her arms , this made Eve more enraged , the commander and majors gained some hope after seeing Eve loose an arm but there hope soon turned into despair when they saw the speed at which Eve's arm grew back and that was not even the scariest part , the arm that was cut of grew a body , like a clone but one with good eyes and some knowledge one can easily tell it was something else.
The now the two Eves attacked the remaining three men at full strength and their was little they could do , the commander had already activated his Unique skill and was getting stronger , seeing this the Eves knew he was dangerous to be kept around for long hence needed to be taken care of immediately , the other two majors were restrained after a few struggles and the Eves now brought all their attention to commander.
" you . are . strong . come . let . your. power . become . mine ". the Eves said before launching their attack , even with the strengthening the commander got from his Unique skill it was still a pointless fight.
" Chaos Eater ". shouted Eve and the reddish brown jaws formed from all over her body towards the commander.
" Nuclear pulse ". the commander used one of his own powerful spells to counter the corrosive ability , sending out a pulse of fire that burnt all the jaws.
" Abyss Rain ". not even giving him time to relax Eve sent several jet black spikes that seemed to be from the abyss itself raining down on the commander killing everything they touched be it monster or soldier.
Even though Syndicate had only 50+ soldiers they were holding up nicely for their own against the legions of monsters , mainly because of the advanced weapons and higher physical capabilities than those of regular human beings but with one attack Eve brought down their numbers to less than a quarter their original number , the commander tried to dodge the spikes to the best of his ability but was too slowly , and just like that the commander died.
Seeing that the job is done the Eves walked up to the corpse of the commander impelled through the chest and smiled , it wasn't a nice smile but a creepy smile that sent shivers down anyone's spine.
Liam who had been watching the entire thing from the trees decided to come down and greet the former lab mate.

Liam became speechless after hearing Nike's explanation , " I guess their research was . . useful ".
