Capítulo 48: Hiatus
So, this is happening again lol.
At the suggestion of some folk on discord, I'm gonna be taking another break from this fic.
I recently started writing a JJK/DxD fic and have been enjoying writing it. Unfortunately, enjoying writing that has made me realise that I'm not enjoying writing this fic right now.
So, for the sake of my mental and because I don't want to force out poor quality work, especially when there's so many moving pieces right now, I'm going to be taking another break from this.
It probably won't last nearly as long as the last break, I don't plan on attempting another suicide this time lol so I won't get locked into a psych ward again (yeah, that happened last hiatus if you didn't know).
It'll probably only be a couple weeks, maybe.
I will finish this fic, I just need to reset my brain by writing another genre for a bit. (Counting Jester, I've been writing this setting exclusively for over a year lol.)
So yeah, sorry. Feel free to come whine at me on Discord, who knows, it might even make me get back to writing this sooner.
In happier news, I've been writing quite a bit for that other fic, so I'll probably start posting it in a couple of days, so you can feel free to check that out :)
I've also realised something writing this. This whole being an author thing? It was just supposed to be a hobby. Something I did for fun. But somewhere along the line, it's started to feel more like a job I do out of obligation.
I loved writing Murder Wizard, even if the schedule killed me. Jester was a blast as well. This one however, feels more like an obligation.
Basically, I haven't been having fun. Which is pretty ironic, since fun was the only reason I started in the first place.
Yeah. I've decided. I'm going to ignore that voice inside me that's yelling at me for not meeting my quota here, and I'm going to try and remember why I enjoyed doing this in the first place.
(I'm still going to finish this fic btw)
