Capítulo 85: Chapter 85: The Ails of a Washed-up Action Star, Part 5

The plan's now set into action, and the three initial members of the contingent (Katarina, a member of Hotel Rainshower's security force, and yours truly) are now at the front door of Room 459, where Kevin and Lisa Livingston are currently staying in.

Right now, we can hear some heated arguments from the other side of the door.

Fortunately, there are no stuff being broken, since it's obvious that there are fines for that.

But then, we need to watch out for the silence that comes right after that argument.

The silence can mean anything.

Either there's a truce… or one of them is taking the other's life… or their own.

The security man recommends that one minute of silence after the argument subsides is enough for us to evaluate the situation and then knock on the door judiciously.

We all then listen intently to the argument, which then slows down into silence after just two minutes.

Now then, it's just one minute of evaluation, and we'll determine if it's safe to open the door.
