Capítulo 38: A couple made for a painting

It took Artie a moment before she registered that Lady Guinevere called her one of her friends. She gasped. 

"You consider me a friend?" She blurted out, and Lady Guinevere seemed startled. 

"Well, we've shared quite a few of our secrets to each other, and it wasn't through threats, so yes." Lady Guinevere responded slowly, and Artie gave her hands a squeeze. 

"I'd love to be friends with you. I don't really have female friends. I'm so excited." Sir Lancelot laughed, and both women turned to look at him. He was smiling warmly. 

"Artie, I think the reason you don't have female friends is because they eventually want to have a more serious, romantic relationship with you. Please, don't seduce Lady Guinevere." His eyes sparkled, and Lady Guinevere flushed before she wrapped her arms around Artie. Artie could feel how her arms shook.
