Before Robin can even protest, Layla grabs her arm and pulls her up from her chair.

Robin's heart pounds in her chest, a mix of annoyance and unease as she's practically dragged out of her office.

As they make their way through the lobby, Robin can feel the eyes of the staff upon them. Layla commands attention wherever she goes, and her presence is as overwhelming as the overly flowery fragrance that seems to cling to her skin.

Robin feels practically suffocated beside the other woman, overwhelmed by the sheer force of Layla's personality.

When they arrive at the designated meeting spot, Layla's group of friends greet her with enthusiastic hugs and air kisses.

"Girls, I want you to meet my new friend, Charlotte," Layla announces, gesturing grandly towards her. "Isn't she just _darling_?"

The other women swarm around Robin, cooing and fawning over her in a way that feels more like a pack of hungry wolves circling their prey.
