Todd was a little absent-minded the whole day. He drove aimlessly.

At last, the car stopped at Daisy's apartment building.

When he came back to his senses, he was sort of stunned. He subconsciously glanced at the security room in the community. The one on duty today was a young man.

He tapped the steering wheel with his long fingers, restrained his complicated thoughts, and got out of the car.

He registered at the security office and entered the community.

Daisy was in the room at that moment. She was checking the information about Betty and her son that the private detective she had entrusted found.

Phillip was indeed generous. He promised her a month of salary leave until she quit her job.
