In the morning, An Hao and Qin Jian were heading home and simply decided to take Song Yueqin and Qin Fen back with them.
The guard parked the vehicle at the village entrance, and Qin Jian's group got off the car.
The villagers had nothing to do, so they all sat under the stage, cracking sunflower seeds between their teeth when they saw Qin Jian and his wife return, they all started gossiping.
"Look at the life An Hao leads. We thought marrying a company commander was impressive enough, but who knew Qin Jian would turn out to be the son of a Commander. Being chauffeured back and forth, how glamorous." Zhang Juyun, the village widow, was green with envy.
"Are you envious of her good life? Now the An family's doing well. I see it's doubtful for you to find another young husband, but you might stand a chance with An Shuchao. He might actually want you."
