"I'm full! Take your time, Mr. Yan," An Hao put down her chopsticks and quietly waited for him.
Yan Ye was starving today.
This was his first proper meal of the whole day.
He had been performing surgeries all day, hadn't had a chance to take a bite of anything, and still had to teach an anatomy class to the students in the evening.
After the class, he finally had some time to eat something.
After finishing a bowl of noodles, he looked up at the noodle shop's window and saw that the noodle chefs had already finished for the day.
He wasn't full yet.
An Hao saw his look of lingering hunger and tentatively asked, "Mr. Yan, are you still hungry?"
"Indeed I am!" Yan Ye patted his stomach, feeling like something was still missing.
"How about this, I have some food in my dorm; I can bring some down for you later."
"No need," Yan Ye refused, looking at the neat half bowl of noodles in An Hao's bowl and saying, "Since you're not eating, just give the noodles to me."
