The ritual looked pretty easy. Kai relaxed next to the fireplace while he waited for Beatrice to prepare the area.

She drew some symbols Kai had seen before in one of the books. It took her around 15 minutes to prepare them.

Then, it was time for the actual ritual. Kai stood in the middle of those symbols, and Beatrice placed her hand on his body, pushing her own mana into his body.

The process hurt, but just a tiny bit. It felt uncomfortable, but not something one couldn't endure. The ritual ended in less than five minutes, and a message appeared in front of Kai.
