Capítulo 55: The Evil Twin V

Dean glared at Irwin like he owed him money as he nursed his broken nose, shattered cheekbones, and broken ribs. The effects of the mind control having been undone by Ansem being incapacitated as the effects of the liquid painkillers running through his bloodstream.

"I said I'm sorry!" Irwin held out his hands, leaning against the hospital walls. He had just finished talking to a detective who had the unfortunate duty to talk to Irwin's supposed boss in the FBI. "Hey, you're not the one paying $10,000 a month to a federal agent so you don't get a rap sheet, alright? Quit your whining."

Dean was taken aback, furrowing his eyebrows at his words. "Yhou pay ah fhed $120,000 ah yhear sho yhou don'ta geta arreshted?"

"Three of them. We have someone in management, but my dad doesn't want me to use him. Apparently, killing people is 'not in line with our agreement' or whatever." Irwin rolled his eyes as drew closer to Dean, his hand clutching the strap of a gift bag. The latter briefly flinched, before grunting silently from the sudden movement.

He chuckled. "Don't be a whiny bitch."

"Jerk-ash." Dean replied.

Irwin took out a bottle of green viscous liquid from the gift bag. He popped the cork and placed it on the tray beside Dean's bed.

"Drink. It'll heal your body so we can get the fuck out of here." He drew the white curtains so Dean will have privacy. Before he left, Irwin saw the distrusting look on his face. "Don't worry. I had Sam inspect it beforehand. Now, chop-chop."

He left the bed and waited for Dean.

Dean, fully clothed in his jacket and jeans, opened the room as he cracked his knuckles and his neck. Astonishment evident in his expression, having experienced such a miraculous concoction that not only tasted great, but felt like heaven in liquid form.

"What in the hell is that?" Dean asked, eyes still slightly glowing from the power of the potion.

"That, my friend, is one of Sancrosan Flamel's failed experimental concoctions during his later years. He called it 'Fantosme e darner avieor Perenelle'' Irwin motioned for Dean to follow him to the elevator. He was tempted to state that the potion cost him 15 credits, but restrained himself as long as Dean doesn't aggravate him anymore.

"I'm totally butchering the name, by the way."

They entered the elevator to a private room on the second floor where Sam and Andrew were waiting inside. A detective wearing a glossy leather jacket and brown slacks smoked a cigarette outside of the room as he conversed with a uniformed police officer.

The detective noticed the two approaching and finished his conversation before greeting Dean with a smirk. "Nice to see you up and running, Agent Reid. They sure make them tough in Quantico."

"W-well, they sure do." Dean smiled, briefly gazing at Irwin.

"Do you mind if we talk to the suspect, Detective Sloan?" Irwin asked.

"Ah, yeah. Right in there with his brother and Agent Prentiss. I gotta say though, he doesn't look like a killer to me." Detective Sloan gave a piece of his mind.

"That's because he isn't, at least, not yet," Irwin replied as he opened the door and entered it with Dean following soon.

The hospital room had a singular bed, a table in the corner with two chairs, and a small couch next to a counter. The room was just big enough for the five of them to move freely save for Sam Winchester, the sasquatch that he was.

"How's ugly Emma Frost?" Asked Irwin as he gazed at Ansem who was restrained by handcuffs to his ankles and wrists, a mask was also plastered to his mouth to prevent him from speaking.

It took quite an argument and a rank pull for the doctors to shut his mouth before he woke up, but apparently, the threat of their residency and a malpractice lawsuit made them quite obedient.

"Ha. Still unconscious." Sam rubbed his hands over his face before looking at Irwin and seeing his brother. "Dean! You're walking."

He stood from the couch and hugged his brother, relief filling his face. He only stopped when Dean resisted his hug and began to nag him.

"Alright, chill it! It's still sore." Dean tapped his brother's shoulder as he removed Sam out of his embrace. He rotated his shoulder cuffs and took a seat at the table before seeing food on that table. "Is this fresh?"

"Just for you." Irwin said as he took his attention towards Andrew as the latter gazed longingly at his brother.

Ansem had been masquerading as his obnoxious friend at his workplace, trying to get close to him the best way he could without defying the rules set by Azazel. If he hadn't stopped the special child, then he would have killed the doctor and rape the girl Andrew liked so much.

"C-can I speak with him?" Andrew asked, wiping away the tears that dampened his face. His body, once full of confidence and ease, now radiates an aura of depression. What once had been considered a gift, now openly laid as a mark of evil.

"Unfortunately, not right now. It is my belief that Ansem's powers had grown far more powerful than yours. That means he doesn't need his mouth to control minds." Irwin warned, much to their frightened astonishment. "Unless we can figure out a way to shut out any mental orders from him, waking him up is dangerous. Especially with Dean here."

"What makes you so special?" Dean asked, a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"Like you don't already know." Irwin replied back, a smug smile on his face as he placed his hands on his jacket pocket. The act caused Dean to momentarily change his seating position, one that allowed him to quickly extract the knife hidden underneath his pant leg.

"You're a witch." Sam stated with his puppy-dog eyes on full display, as if Irwin had betrayed their trust.

Andrew, not following their conversation but knowing full well how dangerous the room had become, backed up into a corner, silent as a lamb.

"One of the best." Irwin replied with a wink as he waited for their next move.

When it was clear that neither brother would move one bit, Irwin gave a relieved sigh that turned into a soft laugh. He rubbed his luscious hair over and again as he briefly contemplated the reason for their non-aggression.

"Now that we know I'm an extremely powerful, but also highly altruistic witch," I said, lightening the mood as Dean scoffed at my boastful words. "I'll just need a day or so before I can find a spell that will help us with our problems."

"Yeah? How would you do that?" Sam asked, resting his back on the couch.

Irwin smirked as he looked at Andrew. "We're going to take him hunting!"
