"Clark? Sigh, where is he again?" Lois asked as she looked around.
"Well, don't worry, Clark is probably just in the toilet; it's like that for him every day." Jimmy Olsen replied, knowing Clark would probably show up.
"Sorry, my stomach is not feeling that well…" Clark Kent said as he buttoned his shirt.
"Just try getting your stomach checked out… this has been going on for years!"
"I will be sorry…."
The television showing random news clips suddenly increased in volume, prompting the reporters to turn to it.
"Breaking News! This is James Anderson reporting live from Metropolis Central, where an incredible scene unfolded just moments ago. Our beloved city's greatest protector, Superman, has once again astounded us with his unimaginable powers, bringing a shocking end to a reign of terror caused by a group of notorious supercriminals. Viewers, what you are about to witness is nothing short of astonishing. Our news team managed to capture exclusive footage of Superman's awe-inspiring intervention. Brace yourselves, as the following images may leave you in awe and disbelief."
"See Clark? Why can't you be as early as Superman?"
"Im sorry…" Clark apologized as he looked at the news, seeing himself beating the butt of the criminals that he had helped arrest just a few seconds ago.
"It's fine… Anyways I have someone that I would like you to meet." Lois replied as she turned to the door before a man younger than Clark walked in, smiling with his back arched.
Clark's mouth nearly dropped to the floor as he saw the face of the young man, "He looks exactly like you!" Jimmy shouted as he compared the face of the young man.
Clark couldn't help but be shocked; although the kid was much thinner than himself, the face and height were too similar.
"Could he be…" Clark thought there might be a possibility that the person in front of him might be a Kryptonian, just as he was.
But as he used his x-ray vision ability, there was nothing that screamed he was a Kryptonian; he was just like the other humans in Metropolis.
"This is… unexpected…" Clark replied, smiling at Lois, "Did you pick him for our team because he looked like me?"
"Nope. Perry White did!" Lois replied, chuckling a bit.
Clark's phone rang unexpectedly, causing him to pick it up.
"Who is it?"
"It's… Wayne Enterprise…" Clark replied as he answered the phone.
"Master Kent, the League would like your assistance…."
Hearing this, Clark Kent walked away from the rest of his colleagues, "What's going on?"
"Master Wayne says it is important."
"I'll be there," Clark replied before ending the call and walking to Lois.
"What did they say?"
"They have approved of the interview that I have requested for Bruce Wayne…." Kent lied.
"Well, what are we waiting for!?"
"Sorry, Jimmy, they only approved of me. I will get going now, and welcome to the team, uhh…." Clark said, not knowing what the name of his lookalike was.
"My name is Oliver Cruz." He replied.
"Well, good luck here." Clark Kent smiled before dashing out the door, quickly taking out his clothing, revealing his suit underneath.
"There goes Kent… Oliver, you told me that you have a twin brother, right?" Lois asked.
Oliver nodded but looked down, "Yeah, but he is in a coma."

As Superman got near to the hideout, he could feel his phone buzzing in his pants, and as he picked it up while flying, he could see that Shazam was calling him, "Sir! Don't come here!" he whispered.
Shazam was still a kid; despite his looks and his voice, he was still very much playful and liked playing pranks on the heroes, "I don't have any time to play Billy…."
"Sir, I swear this isn't a prank-" Before Shazam could explain himself, Superman ended the call as he arrived at the hideout where Hawkman was waiting for him holding his mace, at least preparing for battle.
As the both of them entered the building, he could see that the Justice League wasn't the only one present; literally, every superhero on planet Earth was present. "Batman. What's going on here?"
Clark was confused as to why everyone was present here, what was so dangerous that everyone had to be present.
"I can't really explain it. You will have to see it for yourself." Batman said as he turned to his large-size display screen.
It seems to be a recording of Metropolis, but this time, it had been destroyed. The screen then showed another place that looked like Themyscira, the land which Wonder Woman came from, which was also destroyed.
"Does any of this seem familiar to you, Superman?" Batman asked.
Superman looked confused as he looked at the screen; as far as he knew, Metropolis was still doing fine, and by using his super hearing ability, he knew that Metropolis was still fine, which meant that the destruction of the home of Wonder Woman also hadn't happened. "No… none of this has happened."
"Yet," Batman replied. "The flash used the cosmic treadmill to look far into the future, and that is the future of this world; the amount of death that would happen if we fail to kill the person that did this would be astronomical."
"Have you found out who was responsible for this?" Superman asked as he looked at the destruction that could happen in the future.
"We did." Wonder Woman answered, looking angry and sad at the same time, probably worried about the land that she came from.
"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's save the world!" Superman said as he was ready to fly, but none of the other heroes looked like they were about to take off.
In fact, every one of them was looking at him; Batman then clicked on his remote, showing another video on the screen, "You see Superman, we found out who was responsible for all of this, and he is no villain."
Superman stared at the screen, his mouth wide open as he looked at himself, destroying and killing everyone in his way, including every member of the Justice League, while they begged for their lives helplessly.
"Wait… I don't know anything about this… I can promise you that I will never do anything like this…."
