From the moment I stepped into our family's champers, Ma was standing in the foyer with a frown so deep the corners of her lips were about to touch the ground. It was evident she had not been fully prepared for our surprise visit home since she was dressed in silk black pyjama pants and a button up long sleeve shirt with black fluffy slippers. 

Her curly hair was in rollers for whatever reason and she had a pore strap over her nose. "Vittoria Olympia Romana!"

"Mama," I smiled and gave her a tight hug before kissing her cheek, "Aren't you the most radiant flower in all of Olympus?"

"Don't start with me Vittoria," she growled so loudly even Pa sucked in his lips. 

"What happened to Olly?" I pouted, "I'm your baby. Don't be upset with me."
