Noa stood there, momentarily stunned as he looked at the guard's lifeless body covered in blood. His gaze then fell upon the other corpses lying in the prison backyard.
"Noa, let's leave this place quickly!" Eden shook Noa's arms.
The urgency in Eden's voice snapped Noa out of his daze, jolting him back to reality.
Eden picked up Noa's fallen mask and handed it to him. But Noa just stared at him wordlessly.
Eden grabbed Noa's hand and they ran towards the wire fence. They crossed the fence quickly, then ran toward the vehicle that was waiting for them.
Noa's mind was still reeling from the events that just happened.
Eden could've just deactivated the other party's H-SIM chip instead of outrightly killing him. He couldn't help but question Eden's actions.
"Why did you have to shoot them and cut his neck?" Noa asked, his brow furrowed.
