Capítulo 60: Vow

Wide-eyed and mouth agape, Song Jia stared at Song Huo.

'She has shown me so much improvement these days that I am starting to forget that she's only a fifteen-year-old girl. It must have slipped her mind.'

He sighed.

"Anyway, it doesn't seem like he has ill intentions. No, it's Master Sun, clearly he doesn't have ill intentions toward you. That act is beneath him."

She was taken aback. 'Why do you sound so absolutely sure?'

"Uncle, who is he? Why do you and grandpa seem to be afraid of him?"

His brows shot up. He shook his head. "Afraid? No.. it's not that we're afraid.. Rather, we respect him very much. We can't afford to offend such a person."

"Is his connection really that great?" Her eyes were downcast. 

He nodded. "You could say that. Actually nobody really knows the full extent of his power or those from where he is from."
