Capítulo 19: Chapter 19: Awakening of the Asurendra Body

Su Chen's transformation after three years of being stuck in the Golden Core realm due to his physique marked a turning point in his cultivation journey. Once hailed as the strongest in his clan's upper realm, Su Chen found himself overshadowed by rivals who had advanced to the Saint realm, leaving him feeling stagnant and frustrated.

Stagnant and frustration — that's what he felt. As his clan tirelessly sought out solutions, medicines, techniques, divinations — no one could figure out why Su Chen wasn't able to break through.

His frustration grew over time, a burning desire to surpass his limits and go back to where he once stood as an invincible being in the eyes of his rivals. When he and Old Ji went into the upper realm to ask someone who might know what was wrong with him, they were ambushed by members of the Dogs of God race.

Old Ji had been forced into making a heavy sacrifice which saved Su Chen's life but trapped them both in the lower domain afterward. For three months straight after that moment, Su Chen wrestled with two problems on top of his stagnation: guilt from Old Ji's sacrifice and guilt from feeling responsible for letting himself almost getting captured by the enemy.

In these times of darkness where a flicker of gloom still exists today, Su Chen lost motivation and contemplated giving up on everything. The glory he wanted seemed so far away from where he stood at this very moment — almost like it belonged to another person not even himself. And moving forward? All those challenges seem insurmountable right now.

When fate led him to Master during these moments of despair something snapped inside Su Chen - snapping him out of this spiral and transforming it into iron clarity. His new resolve would push through any trauma or problem that comes his way due to how much adversity he's faced since then.

Under his Master's guidance, everything started making sense again. But most importantly Su Chen regained something he didn't think was possible anymore — his momentum. He not only stepped it up, but he leaped over the barrier he couldn't break before.

Watching Su Chen's revival under Master, Old Ji could no longer hold back his tears. The old guardian had sworn an oath to always protect him and watching him go through something so transformative was too much for him to handle.

The Asura Clan had long anticipated the birth of a guardian in their clan. Old Ji would remember every step that Su Chen took from being a baby until now, etching all those memories into stone. It served as a testament to how much Young Master has gone through since then.

At first, Old Ji was very against Wang Chu taking Su Chen as his disciple. Nobody else had ever taught knowledge to Asuras outside of the clan throughout history. The risk was too high and all he did was worry about what would happen next.

But now, as he watched Su Chen break through his previous self, surpassing any limits he had before, Old Ji's heart swelled up. Wang Chu's teachings had opened doors that Su Chen had tried to pry open for ages. They weren't just cultivation techniques and insights, they were also life lessons. The kind of knowledge that helps you understand the world around you.

Without making a sound, Old Ji thanked Wang Chu with his eyes. The master must've seen something in Su Chen that no one else did when he took him under his wing. If not for that chance, everything would have turned out very differently — much worse than what anyone anticipated.

Su Chen wasn't just proving himself here in this moment; he was showing everyone in the Asura Clan what could be achieved by pushing oneself to their absolute limits.

Old Ji's guilt started to melt away after seeing how far Su Chen had come since then. He used to think it was his fault for not being able to keep him safe all those years ago, but now he realized that it wasn't about protection anymore. It was about giving him the right tools and guidance so that he could unlock his true potential.

At this very moment, Old Ji knew deep down inside: "This is only the beginning of your journey." And as long as Su Chen kept walking forward on the path toward power, the Asura Clan would always be there walking next to him.

The surge of energy from Su Chen awakening the Asurendra Physique caused an unprecedented disturbance throughout the entire island. The force was so strong it even reached into the lower realm – suffocating everyone who resided in it including young geniuses and old monsters.

Luckily for them and everyone else within reach of this danger zone, Wang Chu stepped in just in time to shield them with a massive barrier spell — otherwise, things would've been really bad.

Murong Lingyun felt the tremors of Su Chen's breakthrough from where he was training not too far away. He had always known that his senior brother was exceptional in many ways, but this… this was on another level entirely.

Xiao Chi could barely contain his excitement when he felt the energy surge through his body, he couldn't understand why this whole island was shaking or what all this meant for Su Chen's future. All he knew for certain was that this moment right here would be the turning point for them both.

Wang Chu's barrier spells successfully held back the chaos from breaking out in true form, but they didn't completely mask the impact of Su Chen awakening such power. If you listen closely enough — you can hear it as if it were whispering into your ear. This unspoken proclamation declares to everyone in its vicinity that Su Chen has now entered a new realm.

Inside the pavilion where Su Chen and Murong Lingyun would normally spar with one another, a silence filled the air after those last few seconds passed by. Both brothers looked at each other and nodded approvingly at one another — there was nothing else to say except "I see you."

When everyone finished gossiping about what just happened and how Su Chen did it, something magical happened… They couldn't stop thinking about him and everything else that led up to this very moment.

For Su Chen, this was a personal achievement as much as it was a testament to perseverance, mentorship, and the unwavering support of his clan and master. The Asurendra Physique wasn't just power wielded but a legacy upheld, one that Su Chen accepted with humility and determination.

The island eventually finds its way back to normalcy. As it does so, the echoes of Su Chen's awakening ring true in the hearts of cultivators everywhere. A reminder that even in times of stagnation and despair – the path to greatness is never closed off for those who dare to walk on it. And for Su Chen himself? Well, he's only just started his journey.

As he knelt before Wang Chu – the master whose guidance took him here – gratitude and respect blossomed within him together with newfound power. It was a humble gesture really, but inside it carried all the burdens of his journey and all the sacrifices that came with it.

Wang Chu stood in the midst of the settled energy, his eyes filled with a mixture of satisfaction and contemplation. As Su Chen knelt before him, the master placed a reassuring hand on his disciple's shoulder, silently acknowledging the depths of Su Chen's journey and the newfound strength within him.

Meanwhile, the system, always vigilant, sent a gentle yet urgent reminder to Wang Chu. "Master Wang Chu, I advise hastening your cultivation. Su Chen's awakening has undoubtedly caused ripples that extend beyond this island. The lower realm may already be buzzing with speculations and inquiries."

Wang Chu nodded, his expression turning thoughtful. "You're right, as always," he replied to the system. "Su Chen's breakthrough will not go unnoticed, especially by those who are keenly attuned to such disturbances. It's imperative that we prepare for any potential repercussions."

The system continued, "Moreover, the awakening of the Asurendra Physique is a significant event in itself. The repercussions of such awakenings often resonate far beyond mere cultivational circles. It wouldn't be surprising if factions from various realms take an interest."

Wang Chu's brows furrowed slightly as he considered the implications. "Indeed, the Asurendra Physique is a rare and powerful bloodline. Its awakening will draw attention, and not all of it may be benign."

As they conversed, the island settled into a tranquil state, but the air was charged with anticipation and awareness. Su Chen's breakthrough had marked a turning point not only for him but also for the dynamics of power and influence in the region.

Wang Chu turned his gaze towards Su Chen, his expression a blend of pride and responsibility. "Su Chen," he addressed his disciple, "your awakening is a harbinger of change. Embrace your newfound strength, but remember that true power lies in wisdom and restraint."

In the midst of this exchange, Wang Chu's mind was already working on a plan to balance protection with connection. He turned to the system once more, his tone measured yet decisive. "System, I understand the urgency of our situation. However, isolation is not our goal. We must maintain a delicate balance between safeguarding our realm and allowing interaction with the outside world."

The system processed this information before responding, "Acknowledged, Master. Considering the circumstances, I propose creating a Gate of Trials. This gate will serve as a threshold for those seeking to leave or enter the island while you are in seclusion."

Wang Chu nodded in agreement, seeing the wisdom in this approach. "Describe the structure of this Gate of Trials," he instructed, eager to implement a solution that aligned with their principles.

"The Gate of Trials shall be designed in layers, each requiring a force equivalent to a specified magnitude," the system explained. "The first layer should require a force equivalent to 100 gigatons, the second layer 200 gigatons, and so forth, with the sixth layer requiring a force of 600 gigatons."

Wang Chu absorbed this information, envisioning how it would regulate access based on strength and determination. "Only those who can overcome the trial will be permitted to traverse the island," he stated, clarifying the purpose of the testing gate.
