Capítulo 15: Chapter 15: The Plan

As the echoes of the intense clash between Wang Chu and Old Ji faded, Murong Lingyun found himself standing before Wang Chu with a mix of admiration and desperation in his eyes. The display of Wang Chu's unmatched strength and mastery over the Seed of Catastrophe had shattered any illusions Murong had about the limits of power.

"Lord Wang Chu," Murong Lingyun opened up with a serious tone of voice, "I have spent my life embroiled in political webs and scheming, thinking they were the key to real authority. Today however I acknowledge that there is no substitute for absolute strength."

Wang Chu stared down hard at Murong Lingyun; it was as if his gaze could see through people's facades and delusions. "Martial empowerment is not merely a matter of hands wielding blades," said Wang Chu in his authoritative tone infused with experience, "but about purposeful intentions and determination to face any trials."

Also, he performed an act so humble for someone who was supposed to be proud. "Lord Wang Chu," he humbly requested him and abandoned all arrogance associated with his previous stance on indubitable mightiness.

Wang Chu face softened slightly hinting at recollection. He recalled varied accomplishments in such domains like alchemy, beast training or blacksmithing in his past life. Nevertheless, there were times when he had been brutally reminded what it meant to be outdone by overpowering force despite being talented in many fields in his past incarnation.

"You seek strength now, but do not forget the lessons of today," Wang Chu's words carried a solemn weight, tinged with empathy. "I will accept you as a disciple, but you must abandon the trappings of your past identity as a son of the Grand Tutor."

Murong Lingyun nodded eagerly, understanding the gravity of Wang Chu's conditions. "I am ready to cast aside the shadows of politics,"

Thus, Murong Lingyun began a new phase of his life, which was marked by the enlightenment of martial arts and an escape from manipulation and political games. Wang Chu on the other hand would become a mentor with the responsibilities of one who looked after all students in this isolated garden and whose strength as well as wisdom was unassailable.

Murong Lingyun knew just how much he had committed himself when he fetched for it with a deep bow. As such things cast shadows on politics, what kept playing on his mind were some ropes and plots. He was at war with himself over whether he should stick to his past ambitions or take up this new path towards martial enlightenment.

There was something mature about Murong Lingyun before his father who was known as Grand Tutor and even Emperor; wisdom beyond human age. This prodigy though very young had been displaying high intelligence than most people around him from the beginning; they did not only dominate gambling scenes in their empire since five but also their strategic thinking ability made them succeed.

"So Murong Lingyun," said the Emperor slowly, "tell me more about this Wang Chu?"

Murong Lingyun halted for a moment, his mind carefully selecting the right words to communicate his thoughts. "Your Majesty, Master is an unknown quantity," he began with respect. "Master's presence might not be a disadvantage to the Yan Empire, the sky devouring beast that gave us a headache is also now under's Master wing from what I've heard from my fellow disciple. Don't make unnecessary moves your majesty, even the old servant that's with them has overwhelming strength."

Silently observing his child, mixture of pride and worry appeared on the countenance of the Grand Tutor. He understood how serious Murong Lingyun's choice was and what it included.

While listening to Murong Lingyun describing Wang Chu, The Emperor looked at the Grand Tutor curiously. Asking with interest, the Emperor turned towards Grand Tutor saying "What is your appraisal of this Wang Chu?"

A man full of wisdom and foresight gotten from service spanning many decades, The Grand Tutor spoke cautiously. "Your Majesty," he began respectfully, "Wang Chu should neither be underestimated nor patronized. His mastery over martial arts as well as strategic insight are formidable though still there is a mystery within him which if provoked may put Yan Empire at disadvantage."

The Emperor nodded thoughtfully as he comprehended the implications of such an individual within its borders. "It's turbulent times we live in," expressed the Emperor sounding slightly worried. "As nations grow restless under their skin, war seems more imminent now than ever before; I hope our empire can continue along with its vassal kingdoms for some more years before the storm inevitably breaks out again."

His expression reflecting both determination and caution at once, The Grand Tutor bowed slightly."We shall do everything we can to maintain stability and prosperity Your Majesty," he said promisingly carrying weight of responsibility echoed by the emperor in his voice.

As Murong Lingyun stood before Wang Chu having accepted his offer, he felt as though a heavy mantle had been dropped on him; he therefore paid keen attention to all that Wang Chu said.

"Master," Murong Lingyun spoke with respect in his eyes, "when are we going?"

With caution and approval mingled together in his eyes, this was how Wang Chu looked at him. "We will leave before dawn,"

Before they departed from one another Wang Chu put his hand firmly on Murong Lingyun's shoulder looking into his eyes with an encouraging but piercing look. "Murong Lingyun remember this always…" began Wang Chu in a deep authoritative tone that resounded ominously across the room, "do not cut yourself off completely; your past network may still become valuable."

And to this Murong Lingyun nodded for not being able to admit anything else but only engage in what Master's words have spoken. "Yes master," replied readily Murong Ling Yun based on sincerity ," I shall not forget where I come from while keeping my contacts under check."

Wang Chu's face softened slightly, with a rare smile playing on his lips. "Good," he agreed, "true strength lies not only in physical prowess but also in sagacity and malleability. Do not lose yourself while cultivating."

With this last instruction, Murong Lingyun respectfully bowed before Wang Chu with thankfulness and resolution reflected in his eyes. He went away, already considering what he learned and where to go from there.

After Murong Lingyun left Wang Chu's place respectfully, Wang Chu received a virtual alert that a reward was being offered for accepting him as his apprentice. The System recognized the importance of this and issued a new quest for Wang Chu to establish their base in the hidden domain behind the sky devouring beast.

With regard to this new world, Wang Chu asked about their habitation. The System immediately responded by explaining available choices and costs.

"The terrain for our needs can be bought using 3,000 heaven coins," said the System to Wang Chu. "This plot comprises of an impressive waterfall with water flowing from it; a spacious mansion where you can live; and three other mansions for your prospective disciples. Also, there is a martial arts courtyard."

Wang Chu nodded thoughtfully, recognizing the value of having a well-equipped base for their martial endeavors. "What about other essential facilities like a library, alchemy chamber, and weapon workshop?" he inquired, considering the importance of such resources for their cultivation and preparations.

The System promptly gave a list containing the costs of those buildings within that domain."You can purchase the library at 500 heaven coins, alchemy chamber at 700 heaven coins and weapon workshop at 800 heaven coins." It stated.

So Wang Chu gave his approval after calculating mentally knowing that these facilities would go along way in assisting them during training and preparing them for future encounters.

Finally after weighing between pros and cons of possessing all necessary facilities required by Asura Clan in their base, he turned to system requesting it something else."Do not move us into hidden domain behind sky-devouring beast until I tell you," said Wang Chu to himself silently. "Wait until we come back."

In response to that directive by Wang Chu, The System changed its plans quickly so that their base was established when they returned.

Even as preparations were ongoing for the establishment of their base Su Chen approached Murong Lingyun with a cold and fierce look on his face that one could attribute to his Asura Race ancestry. "From now henceforth, call me senior brother," Su Chen declared without room for any form of disagreement in his voice; his eyes glaring at Murong Lingyun with a sternness that commanded respect.

Murong Lingyun felt the weight of Su Chen's presence and nodded respectfully. "Yes, senior brother."

At the same time, Old Ji who had been quietly following these happenings decided to inquire from Wang Chu about them. "Young Lord," said Old Ji politely, "I have noticed an abrupt surge in the number of disciples coming here for your teachings. What is it about us?"

YouWang Chu looked knowingly at Old Ji with wisdom beyond ages in his eyes. "Strength gravitates towards strength while wisdom identifies wisdom," Wang Chu answered mysteriously. "We have intersected paths with seekers after enlightenment and purpose whose convergence has been destined by destiny."

While Wang Chu's words seemed cryptic, his true motivations lay in a more pragmatic realm. Sacrificing a few years of his life span to teach Murong Lingyun and others was a calculated investment. The prospect of having capable disciples who could aid him in the future was a tempting proposition, outweighing the short-term effort required in training them.

His future plan is to become the biggest free loader in the world. The thought of having competent individuals by his side, perhaps even surpassing him one day, held its allure. Wang Chu was well aware of the potential benefits of nurturing talents who could assist him in achieving his future ambitions, even if it meant dedicating time and effort now.

Old Ji nodded thoughtfully as if he had just comprehended something new. Wang Chu's mystery deepened as well as that surrounding all his disciples echoing deep truths obscured within their hidden world.
