Capítulo 18: CHAPTER 18 - results

A doctor knocked and opened the door before walking in. "sakashi is awake." She told them with a smile "you may visit her if you would like. And rest assured I asked her if she's comfortable with seeing anyone and she said yes, she wants to know who her rescuers are, but she doesn't seem to know who saved her life. She seems to be forgetting her memories slowly, so if she doesn't recognize any of you, here memory loss has gotten worse. So don't get discouraged." She told them calmly. Kalebize and Leemodo stood up and walked up to the nurse with serious faces. "Thank you, we won't pressure her. We just want to see her." Kalebize told her calmly. The nurse nodded and opened the door. "Alright, she is in room 126a." She told them. Kalebize nodded and walked through the door and down the hall. Leemodo followed kalebize down the hall quietly. Chandler sat in the chair and kept silent. His mind was mostly on Asha. He was thrilled to hear sakashi was ok but now he became anxious about Asha. The nurse looked at chandler and walked over to him. "Chandler, I think you should take some time off, you put so much into this place and hardly ever get any rest. We can handle it for now. You deserve a break". She told him in a serious tone in her voice. Chandler looked up at her and smiled slightly. "I know but I'm not gonna just ignore you all.." chandler replied to her and stood up immediately after. "But tell me, how is Asha?." He asked her. "She is one of my employees and I care for her, I need information." He asked her. The nurse sighs. "You might want to sit down." She told him and became tense. Chandler looked at her and sighed. "Come to my office." He told her and began to walk down the hall to his office. The nurse followed him and walked beside him. They both didn't speak to each other even once. They arrived at his office and walked inside. Chandler shut the door and walked to his chair and sat down. The nurse sat down in the Chair acrossed from him and looked at him. Chandler locked his fingers together, placed his hands on the desk and leaned forward over his desk. "Alright, what's going on?" He asked her with his full attention.

The nurse went into her folder and pulled out some images and slid them over to him. "Without showing her private parts for her privacy we covered her up, but this is her body. This isn't including how Damaged she is privately. The girl is fighting for her life, she's still currently alive, but she is put on oxygen. Her ribs had been cracked, several inner organs are bleeding out, her lungs had been punctured, We found bullets in her legs. Stab wounds in her arms. Her spine is broken. She will need some surgery for her cracked and broken bones, but she is also pregnant. She could easily become a living vegetable. And could maybe even die during birth." She told him nervously and sadly. "So she is alive? Is she awake?" He asked her. "No, she's asleep. She's going to be getting a lot of different treatments before she's able to wake up.," she replied. Chandler sighed and lifted his right hand to his face and grabbed his glasses, pulled them off his face and began to rub his face with his left hand. "So she is alive, yet she had several broken and cracked bones, inner bleeding, shot and stabbed, punctured Lungs and pregnant?" He asked to confirm. "Yes." The nurse replied. "And if we don't act quickly with certain treatments, she's going to die or could become a vegetable because her inner wounds could completely paralyze her body. As far as pregnancy. That's risking a lot because the treatment she needs might affect the child negatively." She replied to him. "Unless we take the child from her and let it develop in a tube or give her an abortion." Chandler sighed and looked at her. "Contact her husband and let him decide what should be done.." he told her. "Um, sir, she has no record of being married or anyone in her information. She's labeled as single we don't have anyone to contact to make a decision," she replied nervously. Chandler looked at her slightly confused. "Strange, she told me she was married a while ago. Alright, so in that case, I need you to do whatever possible to keep both their lives alive. Focus on ashas life more but do what you must to try and still keep both their lives alive." Chandler spoke and shut his eyes. The nurse nodded and sighed. " it's the radiation treatments that will risk the baby, so we can always do the treatments that will help save her life without radiation, then let her wake up and decide what she wants to do about the baby before we do anything else.." Chandler nodded and kept silent thinking for a few minutes. "yeah, so what is needed to allow her to wake and make her own decisions. And when she wakes, inform me, please. I need to see how she is doing and talk with her about making a big decision.." he told her calmly. "alright." the nurse replied before she stood up. " you may leave." Chandler let her go and leaned back into the chair. The nurse nodded and walked to the door opened it then saw herself out.

Chandler immediately broke down into tears and placed his head on his desk and slowly slammed his forehead on the desk repeatedly hating himself and wishing he could have gotten to her faster. He felt as if he failed to protect her. Chandler sat up and looked over at his picture from him and her and closed his eyes. "please stay alive. Please make it through this because once you recover, if you're not married. You are and will be mine." he spoke under his breath and stood up. He walked over to his coffee pot, poured some coffee the leaned against the counter and took a sip of his coffee. He then walked back over to his chair and sat down. He looked at the picture again and began to doze off. Moments later her drifted off to sleep.

About five hours later Chandler heard a knock on his door and jolted awake. He adjusted his eyes and stretched. He slowly stood up and walked over to his door and walked over to the door and opened it. "oh Sasha." he spoke with a slight surprise. "hey I have some results on Asha." she told him. "alright, do come in and tell me." he told her and moved over and allowed her to enter. He then walked to his chair and sat back down. Sasha walked inside and sat down. "alright, so tell me what the news is." He told Sasha anxiously.

Sasha looked at chandler and smiled. "It looks like she will survive everything just fine. We did everything we could do without putting both their life's at risk and she seems to be making great improvement. She might even be able to wake up shortly. Then we will be able to find out what she would like to do..". She told him with a smile.

Chandler sighed in relief and smiled. "I'm so glad to hear that, please inform me the second she wakes up, please. You may be dismissed now. I have a small check-up to get to." He replied to her. "Alright." She told him before she stood up. She began to walk then suddenly stopped and turned and faced him. "May I ask you something?" She asked him. "Sure, what is it you want to know?" He asked her. "Do you love Asha?" She asked him bluntly. Chandler looked at her and kept silent for a few seconds before sighing and looked down and closed his eyes. "Yes." He replied. "I see, well hope it all works out for you." She told him and smiled softly then walked out.

Chandler sighed and walked out his office and walked to the checkup room for his checkup.
