"Freedom?" She muttered confusedly.
"From the way you speak, I get the feeling you've accepted the fact that you can never be free from this god, do you want to be its vessel?"
"..."
"If not then I see no reason why you should be so quick to give up,"
I sighed,
"In this world there are simply three kinds of people I despise: Those who give me orders , those who can't fight for their Ideals, and people who push their morals on others. There's no point crying about something if you are not willing to fight for it… well, I guess it all boils down to if you want to be saved or not.".
"What are you saying…"
My eyes shifted to her form as soon as she spoke, and there she was, tears rolling down her eyes as she managed to get a few words out,
"Of course I want to be saved, I don't like living the way I am, every person I get close to is influenced by my bad luck," Ava sobbed,
"I can't live a normal life because I was already claimed by a god I don't even know,, I don't want anything from a god… I just want to live a normal life, one where I have my choices and not forced to follow the will of others!"
"Good, well, have fun, stay safe though." I turned my back towards her and began to sleep, waiting to see whatever I would have to face once the carriage had arrived at its destination.
But then….
"I've decided, I'm breaking out." Ava's voice echoed in my ear.
"Okay."
"With you…"
"Sigh! And how exactly do you plan on doing that?" I spoke, although I really couldn't care less at the moment.
"I.. I don't know yet, but, you just said, there's no use crying about something if I can't fight for it, so I atleast want to try," Ava uttered, slowly rising to her feet, her hands still tied up.
I really should have never opened my big mouth to begin with, knowing these kinds of characters, she is unknowingly going to mess up a lot of things just because she wants to escape.
"Oh for fuck's sake," I sat up right, looking up at her before I asked, "Do you want to be saved?".
"Yes… yes I do." Ava replied, her gaze now filled with determination,
Sigh!
"Okay, close your eyes."
"Uhn? What are you…"
"Just close your eyes."
"O-Okay." Ava closed her eyes,
"Dafahiel, I need you." I uttered under my breath, a part of me already regretting whatever I was about to do.

The two men who were driving the carriage were seated in front, the wind blowing against their faces as they sped through the road.
The rest of their allies had already split up to slow down the knights who were trying to chase after them, just so they could deliver Ava and Aether safely to South Walo.
"Hey boss, you think Lord Hindra will be waiting for us there? I really hope so, I don't think anyone other than the Ace has seen the Lord Hindra, what do you think?" Asked one of the cloaked men,
"I don't know, but if he is, then there's no saving this city, at least once he gets his vessel, honestly, I can't wait, this kind of thing really excites me," The leader smiled, then suddenly, he heard a loud thud from behind the carriage.
Baam!
"Uhn? What was that?" The leader exclimed, immediately reaching for his blade before he leaped down, the carriage halting right after.
As soon as the leader landed on his feet, his eyes widened in shock when he spotted Dafahiel, carrying Ava in her arms and leaping from tree to tree.
"Shiiiit! They got the vessel!!!" The leader yelled, but before he could even chase them down, the carriage exploded.
Everything burnt to the ground, not a single thing was left unscorhed, except for him, the man in black, stepping out of the fire with his form shrouded in darkness.
Step by step, he began to walk away, the flames spreading away from his vicinity, almost like they dared not touch him.
Meanwhile, at the side of the road was the leader of the criminals, his eyes widened in shock from the destruction in front of him.
He was able to avoid the blast from hitting him at the last second, any later and he knew he would have turned into a pile of arches.
And then, he spotted him, the man in black,
'Who is that? Shit, don't tell me he is the one behind this, he looks strong too, well… doesn't matter,' The man grinned, holding the hilt of his blade tighter, 'I'll make him cough up whatever he knows!'.
With a sudden boom, the leader propelled his body forward, the blade in his hand getting enveloped in magic, but just when he was about to strike the man,
Slash!
It was so quick the leader couldn't tell what it was, but all he knew was, both his arms had suddenly been detached, with blood spewing from the opening.
His body plummet to the ground, his eyes still widened in shock,
'W..what was …that?' The man questioned, his eyes slowly shifting towards his severed arm, and then the pain began to sink in.
"Ahhhhhhh! My arm!!! My fucking armmmm!!!" The man screamed in pain, turning helplessly on the ground while his blood was wasting all over the place.
But the man in black, didn't bother looking back, not even for a second, he then took a powerful leap to the sky, and he was gone, leaving the leader's cry to fill the air as he bathed in the sun.
…..
Dafahiel landed on top of the building, below, were people running up and down, as if trying to escape from something.
Gently, she placed Ava and the roof and spoke,
"Stay here, I'm sure the knights will be here to get you soon,"
Dafahiel was about to leap away, but Ava suddenly grabbed her by the arm,
"Please, you left my friend behind, why did you take only me, what about him? Please save him too." Ava pleased, tears almost rolling down her eyes.
Dafahiel stared at her for a while, "You have nothing to worry about," and with that, she sank into the ground when darkness covered her form.
Ava fell to her knees, her mind still trying to process everything that happened,
"Wait … that person looks the same age as me."
