Capítulo 33: The Third Trial (Part 3)

Kai closed the distance, gripping his dagger tightly as he slashed at the young Magus. The wind from his strike whipped against his face, but the Magus wove past him effortlessly, a smirk playing on his lips. Lightning crackled around the Kai's dagger as he lunged forward, launching a flurry of rapid strikes aimed at the young Magus. Each thrust was precise, intent on finding flesh, yet the Shadow Magus danced out of reach, shadows enhancing his agility.

Suddenly, shadows erupted around the Magus, forming deadly spikes that shot toward Kai. With quick reflexes, he leaped aside, narrowly avoiding the lethal projectiles that embedded themselves in the ground with chilling thuds.

"Why are you doing this?!" Kai shouted, searching for a glimmer of reason behind the madness.
