"Now, I'm sure most of you know what these entrance exams are about," Xavier began, his voice carrying the same cool, detached tone that he always used.
He scanned the sea of faces before him, the eyes of a hundred participants fixed on him with varying degrees of nervousness, excitement, and determination.
"Every year, the Institution of Magic—the most prestigious academy in the entire Asura Kingdom—accepts about a hundred students. These students are chosen based on their scores in the Entrance Exams."
He paused for a moment, allowing the words to sink in.
As the students exchanged nervous glances, it was clear they all understood the weight of what he was saying. For many of them, this was the one chance to secure their future in the world of magic, a world that was as dangerous as it was enticing.
One slip-up, one mistake, and their dreams of attending the Academy could be dashed for this year.
